In addition, JTEKT has launched newly  GL4i-SWITCH universal grinding machine features an adjustable wheelhead offering the capability to grind as either plain or angle-head. The GL4i–SWITCH’s wheelhead manually swivels to 0, 30, or 45 degrees for a flexible grinding solution with both ease of changeover as a job shop machine or high-production manufacturing.

The GL4i-SWITCH grinder excels in the most demanding applications. The model features a patented JTEKT STAT BEARING and Floating Plate technology to ensure high accuracy positioning and all new reinforced cast iron bed improving thermal displacement and coolant evacuation. The SWITCH machine’s TOYOPUC Touch conversational control includes a wide variety of canned cycles, intuitive and easy-to-learn data entry capabilities, and visualization of equipment status for smart manufacturing.
